Does a word ever get on your nerves ?..

There's some dismissive term having to do with hamburger, I think, & it's driving me nuts trying to remember it

Depending on the specific circumstances sounds like you're advocating for people to respond in kind to such attacks. Doesn't make sense to me. Would you rather someone reply just as aggressively or in some cases if a speaker really 'lost control' respond with an actual punch?
No, I was making assumptions, either correctly or incorrectly, about the behavior of others. Which is also what you just did if you step back and think about it.

And have a nice day.

"Like" My niece would use it 4 times in 1 sentence.
Yep, I like don't like it either...
Sustainable.. organic… ethically sourced

There’s nothing wrong with these terms…. It’s their over-use
And lack of clear meaning or definition. I agree, overused!
WHATEVER!
Yep
Ideate. Hate that word.
Is it a word? If it is it shouldn't be...

I feel many people get very tired of the same words being used over and over again ( advertising and media did this) and
when some people make up words by combining two etc.

Reread my post...i acknowledged it might not be what it 'sounded like'. And actually asked what kind of response you'd feel more comfortable with---that's not making an assumption, it's attempting to get clarification.

"Shared with me," instead of told me.
"We need to have a conversation," instead of we need to talk.
"So," at the beginning of a sentence for no reason.
"Yeah," at the beginning of a sentence for no reason.
I happen to enjoy using ; so, yeah, but & and at the beginning of a sentence. It must be terribly annoying that I shared this with you in this conversation. šŸ˜‚šŸ¤£
Lol! I couldn’t resist.
