I really enjoy substituting tofu in many recipes calling for ground beef or chopped meat of various kinds. It absorbs all the flavors so well that it’s a perfect addition to stir fries and other kinds of skillet meals.
This is the first time I’ve tried tofu as a stand alone meat substitute, and I’m super impressed!! I made this in the air fryer, and added cornstarch to the tofu marinade to make it extra crispy!
This is crispy air fryer tofu with ginger peanut dipping sauce, and modified caprese salad (basil wouldn’t have worked with the tofu flavors IMHO) drizzled with balsamic glaze. Yum!
