spasm's??Or just me? I have them occaisionaly, and yesterday was lying on
the couch when suddenly my whole left side just jerked extremely violently!!!
It was as if someone had pulled very quickly and strongly on my left leg and
arm.....I did a Mayo clinic readup on this issue, and see that it is not all that
uncommon...but sure surprises me when it happen, esp the episode yesterday!!!

I've experienced something like that, but it could be a couple of years between episodes. It's just a sudden quick jerk that happens during periods of relaxation. I've never worried about it or attribute it to anything, although it could be something like dehydration, I suppose.

I once had an experience with my body feeling like it lifted up in the air and came down but not too far up. I had just had surgery so maybe that was why. I have had some jerking reactions, too, but not too often.

Drink a couple ounces of fresh water every hour or so. See if they go away.
You do not want to go thru tough cramps which are what comes next.
If you do a couple brews, make sure you finish them up with a couple
ounces of cold freshwater half hour or so later. .Make a trip to the head,
wash up and have a couple ounces of cold water too.

Cramping is usually caused by dehydration; water usually fixes it but also electrolytes like athletes slug up.
Doing nothing for hours at a time are our worst enemies, get cha all out of normal routines you had for years.
Before we try a nap, go to head, then have a couple ounces of fresh water.

If I'm starting to fall asleep and start dreaming, it will happen. It's lucky that I go to bed first, if I'm dreaming that I'm starting a chainsaw, the wife's pillow gets swatted.

First, you need to go to GP and if he/she not able to diagnosis, then he/she refers to a specialist, i.e. Neurologist. That happened years ago when my leg got intense pain from Scoloriosis.
The Neurologist didn't simply diagnosis, unlikely High Blood pressure, even he/she knows or suspects what causing it.
I went through a variety of tests, i.e. nerve test and also MRI to look more closely.
I'm glad to get an appropriate diagnosis, but it was a pain to go though all of tests to rule out.
So, if you plan to go to GP and afterwards more likely Neurologist, Endocrinogist or any other specialist refereed, you may need to expect some medical procedures to get the things done.
