Does anyone get many scams on their cell phones?

For the past few months I have received a call nearly everyday from a company claiming to need to speak with me about my loan approval, of course I never applied for a loan. I never answer but they leave a voice mail which is a recorded message that is the same every time.

The numbers vary, as does the alleged state of origin, but I block each number. I am on the do not call list, I have repoted this several times to ReportFraud.ftc.gov, yet the calls continue.

How many different number are available to these scammers? I would think by blocking each number the calls would stop but that hasn't happened yet. I don't want to block all unknown numbers, but not sure what I can do if anything to stop them.
I have the same problem, except that the phone doesn't ring. But they are able to call "silently" and leave a message on voicemail, or just call and hang up, which I see on my list. One more thing to delete. I can't block them because it's a different number each time.

I would really like to know how many are still getting caught believing these texts and voicemails. I mean, everyone here knows they're scams, so how many fall for them now?

These guys work the percentages. Their bots text, robocall or email so it costs the scammers next to zero.. Even if they only catch one person in twenty thousand, it's a net win.

this is the modernized version of the men lining up next to the women’s restroom on Friday nights at the bar. For every 100 women that go into that restroom one of them is going to say yes.

If the scammers try long enough, someone will click on their link and be out a lot of money.

As. @StarSong commented, it cost them next to nothing. So what if they make 1000 bot calls, texts, etc. sooner or later somebody is going to fall for it

I thought it was pretty Balsey to tell me they were from my state DMV and if I didn’t pay a fine, I was going to be in big trouble. 🥸🥸
