Does Anyone Have An Airfryer? Your Opinion Requested

My daughter has one and loves it, I plan to buy one, just so many sizes and styles to chose from. I'm still looking into them as a matter of fact, I was just looking at a few from a link I had this week. I'll see if I can find the link and I'll post it.

I agree, RR... gimme the grease!! :D That said, I do own an air "fryer" and I like it. It doesn't actually fry anything but is a small version of a convection oven. It really makes great pork chops, hot wings, and reheats stuff without heating up the kitchen. I make fries in it occasionally but I spritz them with a bit of olive oil. One downside is that they take up a lot of kitchen real estate and can be difficult to store.

I assume the air "frying" does not remove the natural juices from the meats, correct?

Thanks for the link!

You're welcome.

Air fryers vary in; my daughter's fries up chicken to a nice crisp with just a little oil. I myself on the rare occasion when I do want fried chicken I don't want the greasy stuff, so these work well for my taste. The one my daughter has didn't seem to take up any more space than any other cooking appliances like when we tend to add like crock pots and so on. I personally have under cabinet storage, if I don't want to keep it on the counter top if I should want to store it away. Thankfully though, I have enough counter space for it. That said, my daughter does have a family, so hers is larger than one I would buy. they come in a much smaller size than the one she has. I have to ask my daughter what kind she has, I believe hers you can add like a teaspoon or more of oil in some slot. Also some air fryers you don't have to flip the food to crisp it better some seems you do.

I just got a kick out of watching her

Some reviews of air fryers

when you see the amount of calories saved in that first review, that makes it even more worth it on top of the energy savings and not making your whole kitchen
an oven.

They look/sound interesting. I'm thinking of getting one. They have certain advantages when you think about it.

Storage doesn't worry me. I'll find a place for it........maybe even in the garage. It's not sumpin' I'd be using every single day !
