Does anyone see anything wrong with this flag display?

Yeah, at Suzzex where the Prime Minister lives, he's replaced the Canadian flags on the house with Pride Flags... Should not be allowed for either country!
What? Our prime minister replaced our Canadian flags with Pride flags? 😳 I’m not anti gay. I’m Canadian proud which is what our prime minister should be displaying. He should be setting an example. And YES this is politics. Lol

The American flag is not political. It is for all Americans and should be given the deserved respect.

This will be fine with me. Thanks Patty!

This is a new photo. Under American flag etiquette and flag code, "In a group of state,
local and society flags, the American flag should be flown highest and in the center.
The size should be larger than other flags and in a position of prominence.

Only homophobes who watch a certain lean of news shows see something wrong. What is this flying on top of the White House, huh Gaer? Stop spreading this false crap around, your people are triggered enough.

I'm a Canuck so I am not going to comment on the comment that I just read that are above mine. I am saying I don't know how the US flag should be hung but it seems strange to have it equal to the "Rainbow" flag.

Here in Canada, it's "Pride" Month. The way the media and our "fearless" leader is going about it, you would think it was VE day in 1945. There are articles in the newspapers, the Prime Minister has spoken, the rainbow flag has been torn in protest and there have been plenty of marches. What gets me are the marches in towns known for their religious views. It's like throw mud around. Sure a lot of noise for a minority group. But that is typical Canadian; when they don't have real problems, they just invent them.

Is name calling and intolerance of a differing and correct point of view of flag etiquette all you've got? No, I'm not woke but you have a freedom of choice to be should you choose. Okay with that? If not, go find a country where your pride banner is a national symbol for all. It isn't here, nor is it equal to the U.S. Stars and bars. Not even close cupcake

The American flag is flying high properly over the White House, which is what this nonsense thread is about.

Many see the flag and banner display as a separate and distinct display and even were it not, it still is a clear display of improper flag etiquette.
Or are we just making up new rules as we go along? Since the Stars and Bars are atop the white house, they should not have been on either side of that pride banner and since they are with a banner, flag etiquette should have been followed. There's a reason for that.

This was only a one off thing because a Pride celebration was held on Saturday on the South Lawn of the White House. The flag which is called the Progress Pride Flag was flown from the Truman Balcony.

According to the U.S. Code, “The flag of the United States of America should be at the center and at the highest point of the group when a number of flags of States or localities or pennants of societies are grouped and displayed from staffs.”
The American flag was flying above the progress pride flag from a flagstaff atop the White House, meaning Biden did not violate the flag code.

Everything is in order... have some coffee my friends!

"center and at the highest point of the group."

Respectfully SB, I disagree that the flag atop the the WH is part of the group display in question. It's too far of a reach for me, and I'm not homophobic.

Well said. That flag always flies atop the White House. The US flags hung at the same level as the banner are a separate display.

In any case name calling should not have a place here.

I guess the argument is whether the 4 flags are a group or the 3 flags are a group.
Who can answer that question for us without name calling?
The angle of the picture from snopes that @ElCastor linked certainly shows the 3 flags far away from the one atop the White House.

I wasn’t talking about your post. I was referring to mine. And I’m ok with it being deleted if necessary also. 😉
