Does anyone still take baths?

We both mainly take showers, but now and then when our muscles can use some relaxing we'll take an Epsom Salts bath, I'll add some bubble bath to mine when I take it. Very calming, usually do it before bed. :bath::sleep:

Yeah, I'm a bath person too. Soaking helps soreness. I don't do the music and candles thing but I'd love to. :eek:
 
It is too difficult for me these days and the baths are too short and not deep enough anyway to really enjoy them but before my skeleton caused problems, I bathed then finished with a shower.
 
Yes, I love a good bath! I use a bath additive that moisturizes and bubbles, too. I've never considered it sitting in my own dirt as I'm not full of dirt to begin with:D and I feel that any residue on my body will be eradicated by the liquid bath soap I use and the warm water. I often take sink baths and then also take the tub bath at times.

Just how "dirty" are you when you enter a bathtub, and where and what do you do that corresponds to you being so worried about all the dirt in the water?
 
I used to take a shower then soak in the tub because I agree I do not want to soak in dirty water. Those days are, however, long gone. A soak would be nice but it would ruined by the necessity of calling the paramedics to get me out of the tub. šŸ˜‚

I'm with the team that would worry about the fire dept seeing me naked when they had to fish me out...I know they've seen it all but small town,claw foot tub,no bars and there's the hip,SI joint,shoulder,could get uglyšŸ˜±

I will get a bath a few times a year... and thats in the river...
Before we moved into the camper I would surprise the DW a few times a year...
She would get home to find our garden tube full of HOT water, candles burning, glass of wine and dinner ready...
She always screamed at me..... WHAT HAVE YOU BOUGHT NOW.....

The boards seemed a little sluggish at one point yesterday, so out came the shovel and into the archives I went. :)

I'm like yourself, OM, in that I just love it when a member resurrects an older or old thread topic.
