Really good idea.Maybe the person could fill the coffee mug with water and pour that into the machine to make a single cup?![]()
I have a Keurig which makes one cup at a time. I also have an espresso maker which will make one 4oz serving at a time.
My wife doesn't drink coffee regularly, and I have only 2 or 3 cups per day.
Really good idea.
I have limited vision so marked the outside of the water display indicator window with a couple of spots of bright nail polish.
We use these refillable k-cups:The reason I went with the Black and Decker instead of the single portion coffee containers is that the coffee is so much more expensive packaged that way and the little containers--unless you buy refillable ones or biodegradable ones--aren't environmentally friendly. In 2014, an Atlantic article stated that used Keurig cups end to end would circle the Earth 10.5 times.
We also switched to a Keurig. If we make a full pot. it all will get drank. Ours also has an insulated carafe in case we have some company.I have a Keurig which makes one cup at a time.
The Keurig has push button activation. My mother was legally blind and I think she would have been able to use it - even to choose the strong version. Just dump the water in the side compartment each time its used like Aunt Bea says and the vision impaired person should be good to go.Like a single cup express maker? If so how do you like them Thinking about a person almost blind woo can’t
see how many cups of water is in the caraffe.
Really good idea.

Can you reach the water line inside the percolator with the tip of your finger?Does that help seeing the water ? Maybe I'll try it. I have some safety paint out in the garage .
I use a percolator , and have to use a flashlight to see the measure lines inside the darn thing . I don't think a dot of paint will kill me in the perc ?
If I were you, I’d designate a large measuring cup to hold your water. Figure out exactly how much you need and just fill it and then transfer to your perc.I use a percolator , and have to use a flashlight to see the measure lines inside the darn thing . That's awesome, Irwin! We use these refillable k-cups:

I'm not sure why they give you four. We're still on our first one.
