What kind of side effects does the thyroid med give you??I feel so tired (73 yrs) probably from taking care of my sick relative and my elderly cat that keeps me up at all hours. But my Dr keeps trying to get me to take thyroid med, but I don't like the side effects. Is it normal to feel tired and achey alot?
Thank you.Not really, although age does play a part. I will say that if you get your thyroid straightened out you'll feel a lot better. Also smokin will make you feel bad. Maybe you should ask your doc for a full physical with blood work and all to get to the reason.
Hope you feel better soon.
I think it might give me some insomnia, but honestly I'm supposed to take it 30 min before breakfast, then I'm supposed to take metformin after breakfast. I'm good about my BP meds though. What kind of side effects does the thyroid med give you??
That is very good advice dusty. Last Christmas my wife started to feel tired much earlier than usual, by January her fatigue had become a serious worry. She made an appointment with her doctor for a full check up. The doctor found an unusual heart rhythm and sent her for further investigation by a specialist. It was discovered that her heart muscle was okay but the electrical system was out of sync. It was that which was causing her fatigue. She is currently recovering from surgery, still gets tired but slowly, slowly she is recovering. Not really, although age does play a part.
