Does Your Nickname On The Forum Have Special Meaning?

Means I don't know how to spell?
All this time my eyes have auto-corrected it and I never noticed.

My bad eyes also always see @Bella 's avatar as a laughing camel.

Long ago on a message board where all we do is analyze TV shows to death I names myself JudyObscure because I thought it was funny. (?) Years passed and I realized I was looking around at the name Judy where ever I was. So when I came here I took my grandmother's name to break the Judy thing.

Even so I sometimes read Judycat's posts and think, "I don't remember saying anything that clever and funny!"

I could never use my real name because it's too unusual and real-life people would know who was revealing all that personal stuff on the internet.

Well I've told it many times before.. but having been on loads of chat forums prior to this and during... I didn't want to have the same name as I used on those... so one forum I was on you had to use a surname as well as a first name.. I thought that was very cheeky so I put another surname and just put the name Holly in front of it, as I've got a Holly tree in the garden .....(not my real name or even close.).

When I came over to this forum , 9 years ago..I still used Holly, because there was many of the same posters, but Holly was rejected, so I just rhymed it with Dolly ..and there you are, as boring as that HollyDolly... however the initial are ironically my own initials..so when I postmark my photo with my initials for this forum, I can still use the photo for private use...

Competitive shooters make their own ammo - referred to as "Handloading."
Similar to someone buying eggs, flour, sugar, etc. & baking their own cake as opposed to just buying a cake.
Handloaders have their favorite brands of components - primers, brass, powder.
My favorite powder is "Winchester 231."
