Poor little girl. I hope she's not left with any permanent damage or scarring.

Any dog that attacks a child or adult for that matter should be put down, they're a danger to society.

Unbelievable. Only guide dogs and other trained assistance dogs are allowed in restaurants where I live. I never trust dogs, even good natured ones, around small children. You never know what either will do to set off an attack.

The dog must be put down. The owner should be prosecuted.

This happed in Adelaide SA recently ......

it wasn’t a child thank goodness , it was Adelaide football ovals mascot puppy a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel at the new ovals hotel that was attacked / killed .V a bull terrier / staffy dog

HOWEVER ..next time it may have been a child that was killed , if the council wasn’t able to track this despicable
dog owner down and destroy the offending dog 🐶 ( the person just walked away after the attack without any assistance or offer to cover costs for pets care )

I was out walking my puppy, who nips and bites when the neighbor came up and asked if her grandchildren could pet her. Nope. Please, please, please, nope. The mother asked if she could pet her.

Yup, it’s on you if you get bit. She agreed. Bella was good and didn’t bite the woman. So, her kids asked, again, if they could pet her, nope. You just never know with puppies and dogs. Bella bit me today while I was putting on her leash and drew blood.

The owners will be sued. Prosecution depends on if the dog has a biting history, and I bet not. Dog must have had its rabies shot so child is fortunate in that regard.

The poor child will be afraid of dogs her entire life. Such a shame, but why did her parents let her go towards a strange dog? Any dog will bite if approached wrong or suddenly. The whole thing is awful, but I agree the dog must be put down.

My friend with the corgis, she and her family have never been bitten and the first corgi was a crazy nut.

Well, Bella is a mix, corgi-red heeler and my bleeding hand can confirm she bites 😂. But she is only 9 1/2 weeks old. It’s open and could use a stitch but not giving her an early rep 🙄 Edited: ask your friends if their dogs nipped and bit as puppies cause I have never heard of a puppy that hasn’t.

At the park yesterday a dog tried to bite me. I was doing my normal brisk walk and there was this elderly woman with 2 dogs ahead of me. Whenever I pass someone on the paved walking track, I move onto the grass to maintain social distancing. Even though the dogs were on leashes, one bound at me yappy crazily. I reacted quickly distancing more into the grassy area. Owners should know the temperament of their animals so they would shorten the leash when walkers/joggers approach.

I saw a tame dog bite a baby in it's walker once. The crowd of teens were all admiring the baby when the dog attacked and bit it's face. Dogs do get jealous and will bite.

When my granddaughter was about nine, she was out on a morning run when she was attacked by two Doberman pinchers. One bit into her back and started to drag her down the road and the other one bit into the back of her knee to the bone, narrowing missing a tendon. This could have put a stop to her athletic career, which later got her an athletic scholarship to college. She was nationally-ranked at the time in her sport. Her step-father, who was about a block or two behind her, got there as fast as he could and kicked and pulled the dogs off her, getting bitten himself in the process.

The owner, of course, couldn't believe the dogs would do something like that...."they are gentle dogs". She recovered fully, but it cost the owner some big bucks and, though the dogs were not put down, they were declared "dangerous dogs" and he had to prove that he had made adequate provisions that they would not escape his property again.

My granddaughter, being the tender soul that she was, wanted to stop by on the way home from the hospital to tell the dogs she wasn't mad at them and to make sure they were OK.

I will. I had two of my earlier cats when they were just two weeks old and they were teething and would bite wires. I remember taping the wires to the walls so they couldn't do this. A baby animal gets into everything!

Yup, we had two cats as our son with DS wanted cats. We rescued them from the then kill shelter and they were with us for 18 years. They were not mousers, they were play with mice cats. And we had mice in our old house.

While I dislike cats, I loved my kid, whatever you want sweetie. 😍. But one of the cats hated my husband and bit him, badly. So it wasn’t all bad, having that cat. I told my husband to go to the doctor, nope, mr know it all wouldn’t.

Course once his hand turned red, swelled up like a ballon, hurt like hell, and the red was crawling up his arm, he changed his mind. Cat bites are really bad.

I would catch the cats in the act of mouse play, shoo them away, and let the mouse go back to wherever it lived with its large family in our crappy house. 😂. Once son left and cats left, mousetraps.

We could not hire an exterminator as Utah is a no kill mouse state. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Mice are trapped and released into fields so they can once again make their way to your house. Deer mice dropping will kill a human so I don’t understand this policy.
