Don’t forget! This Sunday, Nov 6th, turn clock back 1 hour.

Here's a photo of the Brits, from last week, as they turned there famous rock-clock back one hour.....

Wish they'd just do away with it.
However, glad cell phones, computers and streaming TV devices update automatically.. That leaves us with just stove and living room time & temp clock to update. Using modern tech to do so takes the remembering which way to change clocks out of it now. Just set any to what your cell phone, computer or tv says.

I hate changing time because of DST. It messes me up for about a week. It screws up sleeping, etc.
Plus I'm a clock nut. I have clocks all over the house. Three of them chime. They have to all chime at the same time, or life isn't worth living. It is a bear getting them to do that. And changing time screws that up. ARRGH!!!!
And nobody has any real evidence that changing time does a damn thing. We're ELECRTIFIED, we don't need the sun anymore.

Easy to remember - Fall Forward, and Spring Back!

And don't forget, the Buckeyes play Northwestern at Noon EDT today.
That's how i remembered before tech devices made it unnecessary to recall. But some people, even generally smart ones, would get themselves confused. i know woman with a masters degree that would twist it somehow to opposite.

There seems to be a lot of disagreement about whether to change to "all daylight savings" or "all standard." I don't think anybody likes the idea of keeping things as they are, with the confusing change we have to make twice a year.

My instinct is to stay with standard time year-round. It seems more in tune with nature, and my own life is really not affected in any important way, one way or another. I do feel sorry for the teenagers and college age kids who need more sleep than they get with DST. Going back to standard time is more suited to their body rhythms.
