"Oh it's easy!" Especially if it's concerning everyday technology. Nothing is easy until it has been explained, or comes with instructions, usually in fluent gibberish.

It's always a little jarring to hear, "It was an accident."
The phrase I really really hate is "Without further adieu..." Especially if you're not French. (and I don't think the French ever say that)

Or usually.“You look nice today“.. Ah, ok, how did I look yesterday?
I hated it when people started telling me I looked nice. What happened to, "You look pretty," or "You look gorgeous?" What does nice look like anyway? Like I wont snap their head off? Don't count on it.“You look nice today“.

yep I get that now..I think it's an age thing... people started saying it after I got to about 60..not beautiful, not stunning, not gorgeous, ..but 'nice''...

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. I have always hated that saying, especially as it is a response to finding out something bad is happening. It's being fobbed off.
I also hate being told, re cancer, don't worry, everything will be fine. I actually don't worry (except for the night before knowing I will get news about it), but I'm not stupid. It's not necessarily true that everything will be fine, and the speaker certainly doesn't know that. I do my part, but I don't actually have control over this situation. I'm just happy I'm in remission now.
