Had a meeting with a nice man today. On leaving, I reached out to shake his hand. We both remembered at the same second, "don't touch anyone!" It was uncomfortable.
It used to be, you could tell a lot about a man by the way he shook hands. Another wonderful thing by the wayside?

I like the Japanese custom of bowing. Maybe we should try that?

I like that too....Sunny.....I have such light skin....I haven't been out in the sun for a while....I can't wait till this is over, if it does get over.....
We are away from home....I hope we can still get the plane, end of April...We paid already....

What about the feelings of the person you're grabbing & kissing? What if, given the times, he didn't want that contact? I think you should say "So happy to see you. Want to hug and kiss you. Is that okay?" If so, have at it!

So, Besides a handshake, we're losing the spontaneity of a hug and/or a kiss. This is sad.
They should make a movie: "Love in the age of Coronavirus."
