Double checking>>>>>>

Yes, but sometimes I still miss mistakes. I have a friend who used to send me e-mails from her kindle and she had it on auto-correct. She never proofread and I would get the oddest messages.

I don't stress about it too much, just occasionally. I'm not writing a college term paper and I figure if people pay attention to the message instead of the technicalities then I'm in good shape. However, my phone has a mind of its own. For example, a friend has the name of DeLona. Sometimes I mess with my phone. I'll write the name correctly, double check it, send it to her. Somewhere between the time I double checked and the time she retrieves the message it changes to Felons. Every single time. I have not figured it out but it gives us a good laugh.

I try not to make mistakes and I have a dictionary on my desk.
Auto spell does't like it when I spell neighbour or labour for example,
but that is the British way of spelling these words and that is how I
was taught.

Remember there IS an "Edit" option. Just click on it and go ahead and correct any mistakes you made.

Comes in handy and saves face. Ha Ha Ha

I check sometimes. But stuff gets by. Who cares? It's the internet. It's not like it's your English term paper.

I proof read mine.

The number of spelling errors that I see on numerous postings is amazing. It would seem like the posters should know better.

I usually do but things get past me from time to time. I've noticed the last few years I'll sometimes write a word that rhythms with the word I mean to use. What's with that anyway!? I can't imagine why I do that!

I don't always but I should. And sometimes I'm writing and I look and my keyboard or something has deleted a whole seies of words, sometimes an entire paragraph. I don't know how to correct something like that. Eeverytime I mess up and misspell or auto correct has made me look foolish, I feel bad. I tell myself I must watch what I'm writing. Of course it is not a term paper or anything that important but it is your life, I want to do it right.
