This magnificent eclipse will only be visible from Australia and to the penguins in Antarctica. We don't have any Antarctic penguins on the forum (do we ??), therefore, it will be up to our Southern Hemisphere friends to keep us posted if you are able to watch this event.
The article didn't mention New Zealand; so I don't know if it will be visible from there or not. Maybe local information will let you know more about who can and who can't see the eclipse.
It will also be online, so the rest of us can watch it that way, according to the article.

If it is visible in NZ it will be rather late in the day - 6.15 pm (not daylight saving time)
