I live in a city that has an industry that lays off hundreds of people constantly. I am seeing companies that were very lucrative and powerful being turned into muck. I know everyone has their own definition of love I am supposed to have years of experience behind me that is supposed to help me know what I am doing but that is something that has not changed in my life. I think I am making wise decisions and it is taking me back to memories of my youth and making what I call now stupid decisions. Isn't dating and sex between old adults supposed to be done with more honor and honesty, respect too. I am being tossed aside like old rags.

That sounds like a sad story Halalu.You would think that wisdom comes to us more in old age, but I'm not sure that's true, hence the saying 'there's no fool like an old fool!' Hope that things improve for you in the future.
Who is the old fool me or the other person? I made a conscious decision and I dealt with the outcome good or bad. With that said: All comments are appreciated and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I hope that in this forum we all agree to honor disagreements and other peoples comments and responses.

I've been married for a long time, so I can't really comment on sex between older adults. I would think it's the same regardless of age really. Some people are just out for sex, and we have to be careful to get to really know someone, before we open our hearts to them and become intimate. It sounds like you're being taken advantage of by a man, and if that's the case, he should be out of your life. IMO, life is too short to be treated badly by anyone...I'd rather be alone if that's the case.
