Well, Halloween is sadly over, but we still have…El Dia de Los Muertos! Who’s with me in celebrating the Day of The Dead?

This is a holiday I would love to embrace. What a wonderful concept.

It's kind of like Halloween, but maybe a bit more creepy. Although, I imagine it's not celebrated as creepy, but more like Veterans Day.

All Saints' Day for the year 2024 is celebrated/ observed on Friday, November 1st.

All Saints' Day also called All Hallows, Hallowmas, and Feast of All Saints is held on November 1 each year and celebrates and honors all the Saints especially the Saints who are not honored on other days of the year.

The day is preceded by All Saints’ Eve (Halloween) the night before and then the day after followed by All Souls Day.

The 3 days together represent the Allhallowtide triduum (religious observance lasting 3 days) as a time to reflect and remember the saints, martyrs, and the faithful who have died.

I, myself don't find it at all creepy. I accepted it and use to celebrate by attending as many celebrations as possible. Not anymore though ~ too tired. It's a beautiful celebration ~ if you understand it.
