Elevator riddle

I sent the riddle to my aunt who had a better answer than my original. She said "He wanted to rise to the top." My answer was "He wanted to get in on the ground floor." I'll let others decide the better answer.

But I get in on the 3rd floor daily ... lol (sorry):ROFLMAO:

I thought , someone had asked him, "Would you give me a lift home?"
He said:
"Where do you live?"

"Up there" (while pointing)

So, he gave them a lift. No?

BTW, Jerry, I do love Pappy's post!

dumb responses
he like closed space (agoraphobic)
he came 'out of the closet,' was not happy, built his personal closet
he liked to feel his tummy roll

He got the idea for the elevator safety brake one morning while enjoying his Maxwell House coffee Good to the last drop!

THANK goodness for coffeeeeee!:ROFLMAO:

I do get the joke in this reply, but still..... If there's any chance that his coffee helped him think of this idea of a safety break,
it's yet another great thing and one more reason, to be thankful for coffee!:coffee::giggle::coffee:
