Enter At Your Own Risk

There was an article a few weeks ago about some "invasive" earth worms in the "US". Reading further into that article and seeing a photo of the worm, I realized I had seen those kind of earthworms before. What? The article made it sound like they would kill everything, that they change the composition of the soil (isn't that what they're supposed to do?), but near the end, it stated they had been in this state for several decades. The headline was just a sensational "click-on-me" one.

While digging up weeds in the front garden this morning, I found more than a few of them. I carefully replaced them and lightly covered them with soil.

I hate the media.

I love the funny cat and dog videos, especially when a baby is involved.

The Belgian Mallinois dogs are amazing, along with their trainers.

I feel so sorry for people who suffer from respiratory allergies. About twice a year, something must blow in and I get the watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose, and it is miserable!

Yesterday, I was outside weeding the small front garden. Beautiful weather! Finished, came inside, took a rest and a few hours later went out with the dogs. Within a couple of minutes, started the sneezing. It quickly became miserable. For the rest of the day/evening, it would start to ease a bit, then just to open the door and let the dogs out would bring it right back.

Seems lots better this morning but no way I am going outside yet. How do people tolerate this? Argh!

I have the same.sneezing galore as soon as I come indoors after being out in the garden... I wear sunglasses always when outdoors

My daughter is much worse she has a very high pollen allergy.. and has to be medicated..

My eldest brother had it so bad that he had to have vaccinations against it as early as december so he could still do his driving job come spring and summer when the pollen is very high

I have allergies all year. It sucks.

@hollydolly and @MarciKS

I am so sorry for you! What misery you must suffer. HD outside gardening and painting gates and Marci with such a physically demanding job. Wow! Last night, I didn't even do the dishes stacked up in the sink, two days' worth. I feel like such a sissy compared to you and others.

Hey I let dishes set sometimes for 2 or 3 days. When I am eating food out of pots and pans it's time to do a wash. LMAO
The truest things are the funniest in life. Until the past few weeks, I never used paper plates. Never. There were some in the cabinet, left over from a weenie roast last summer so I grabbed one and have gone down that rabbit hole now. Killing more trees and adding to the land fill. Who woulda thunk a few dirty plates would make such a difference in dish washing?

Maybe I should start eating out of the cooking vessel? Hmmm....
