Bad here too! Maybe connected. @hollydolly 's pictures make England look like a desert.

Western ‘Megadrought’ Is the Worst in 1,200 Years

GW is a hoax
I don't think so. I can agree there is a lot of bad and confusing information out there, but good science does show that temperatures have increased. And it is likely man caused, at least in part. Forecasting where its going, and what to do about it is harder.

Bad in some parts of USA too. Our summer didn't really arrive till 2nd week of June. We didn't have as much snow where needed so city water reserves were low by then. Outside watering restricted, and were 4 nights during the middle of June when virtually no-one in city had water unless they have own well.

Apparently the aquifer & reservoir that feed irrigation ditch i share with neighbors had pretty good flow for their fields. By early July it was cloudy by afternoon most days. But while we had strong winds, thunder/lightening most days we've only had 2 or 3 good soaks. I kept hoping for long slow rains but not much of that either. The daily cloudiness caused humidity to climb which is hard on my energy levels.

Now here we are on 13th day of August and by 8pm last night our water stopped flowing. Let's hope it gets going by 9 a.m. like it did in June. Lucky i still have some stored for washing dishes and flushing toilet. If it flows during day, will restock and add some more containers to my reserves. Meanwhile, hopefully the lightning from a storm, or some stupid tourist, hiker (we're near Continental Divide Trail) won't start a fire on the nearby forests.

Oh, and now we've learned it was break in water main near highway. They've been working since last night to fix. DD found out by going to Village website. DD had been awakened 2hrs earlier than her usual time by motel guests calling to complain about no water.

We discovered the time someone ran a truck into a pumping station and water was wasted and we lost service overnight that yes our tiny village is in 21st century in that (having online presence) way. But this is a problem many small communities have-- trouble maintaining and replacing equipment, supply pipes. Why we need a national infrastructure initiative.

The wide spread droughts, wildfires and floods (all globally) is getting to be frightening! And it's sad. Lake Mead here in the U.S. has dried up. Pictured is a formally sunken boat.
"Nowhere is the Southwest’s worst drought since the year 800 more evident than Lake Powell and Lake Mead, the pair of artificial Colorado River reservoirs whose plunging levels threaten major water and power sources for tens of millions of people."

There are more lakes and rivers that are drying up as well.
