Looks like the same thing I have,, growing in a big patch under the pine trees.

Are the flowers nocturnal? I was searching online, and I think Evening Primrose was one of the night blooming flowers.

After looking at the picture, I miss having a yard. I have a small garden here to plant primrose, or evening primrose, if I find some.
What is a hawk moth? Do I want to attract those?
