As for me:
I was involved in pro-rodeo and would sometimes have a sports network camera on me in the arena........didn't bother me.
Also, while involved w/pro-rodeo, myself and a friend of mine were on an "early morning/7AM" radio morning talk-show discussing pro and youth rodeo with the show host. It was right before the Forum Championship (at the old L.A. Forum) was going to happen. We were both happy to do it.
At our Wedding Reception, someone gave me a mic to do a "toast" to my Best Man, Maid of Honor and my wife's mom. More than glad to do it!
As for my wife:
While spending some time in Hollywood, as a movie and commercial "extra", my wife had numerous people, some she knew, others she didn't, see her. They would say, "hey, weren't you in that movie (such and such) or in that commercial (such and such)?" She was asked, by her Agent, to be on the set of Titanic (1997). Because she probably have to get wet, when the ship was sinking, she turned it down. That ended her "extra" career. This was before I met her.
Last year, when wife and I dressed up as Princess Leia (her) and Darth Vader (me) for Halloween, went to a public party and wife and I couldn't believe the number of people who wanted their picture taken with me and yes, her as well. Guess Darth Vader was a very popular villain! Actually, I had a guy at a Hobby Store tell me that he dressed up as Vader for Halloween and couldn't believe the number of people the costume attracted for photos. I thought right then, "time to dress up as Vader"......LOL!!
