I've had a lot of those days in my lifetime, thankfully. Many recently, including today. Lot's of folks nodding and smiling, pleases and thank yous, holding open doors, pleasant clerks and cashiers in the supermarket and post office. When people are sincere with helpfulness, courtesy and friendliness...life is good. There are a lot of good people in this world, and you don't have to go far to find them. :sunglass:

Do you ever have one of those days, have them often??

I have a lot of those especially when I am in Calvert county md and I love it

Everyone I come in contact with on my outings, shopping and the phone is very friendly and positive -- I think people want to enjoy life and see others enjoying life. I very rarely see anyone grumbling or snarky, but if I do, I avoid them.

The mechanic who works on my car is remarkably courteous. He's not the best mechanic I've ever known but I wouldn't take my car anywhere else precisely because he's such a pleasant person to deal with.
I'm sure his courteous nature goes over particularly well with his women customers since woman often say they feel intimidated by mechanics.

I can't help but have days like that, I live in a mostly sunny touristy area, people are generally exuberant and happy and ready to head to all the fun places, so everyone is smiling and friendly often. But I can tell when someone is here from NJ, it;s hard to get them to turn that :( :). The snowbird rush isn't the most plesant time but still people are pretty nice in general except in parking lots. LOL.

I rarely run into people here that aren't smiling when I walk past them, almost every greats me with a smile as I go about my day and most people are extremely helpful. Most of the men and younger people always step back to let me and other people my age get on the bus or go on our way first, that's always a thing, I won't lie and say every single person does this, but, it is the norm for most to do so in my experience. I will often pull back to let the person that was there first go ahead and they will just stand there sometimes not say a word and just wait for me to go.

A lot of the people help me to keep my faith in people, most every time I walk out my door, when I go over to the shopping center here and how nicely they greet me along the way with their generous smiles. :sunglass:Just one or two smiles has a magical affect on me instantly if I'm not already in the best of moods.

I should add, that there have been quite a few people on this site that have given me good reason to smile and keep faith in humanity and I am so thankful to them and others like them, they are always able to lighten my heart and make me smile.

Frequently. Most days the only person I see is my wife. Regrettably, my wife wouldn't be able to say the same-- I don't believe I can be pleasant for entire day. I'm not a "get off my lawn" kinda guy, more of a "get the hell off my planet" type.

I do have them, and what great days they are.

Sadly, they are far and few between.

I'm pleasant and friendly to people and they are pleasant and friendly to me.
If they can't or won't . . . the heck with 'em.
What I find very refreshing is the number of young people I encounter who are very respectful and kind.

Yesterday, a friend and her dog and I went for a long walk on a popular biking and walking trail. Everyone we met up with seemed to be happy and friendly. It was a gorgeous day, the sun was hot and the humidity was low and a nice cool breeze was blowing. Being outdoors on a day like that, what's not to be happy about?

I don't usually come in contact with many others and am delighted when I see people being happy and positive! I often, tho, run into my cranky neighbor who is most unpleasant though and so I try to avoid contact with him as much as possible.
