Ever heard of “stay and test?”

A new program started in our county because so many children have Covid. You can only stay in school IF you have tested negative for Covid. I have no ideal how often the kids have to be tested. I saw a neighbor’s children were home and asked her why, and she gave me this information.

She also told me since thanksgiving break was coming up, she was not going to bother to take them to school, or have them tested till after thanksgiving 😮. My how times have changed.

Usually if a child misses school, the child better be near death. Now, if the children want to stay in school, the child needs a Covid test. So, lazy parents, like this lady, can simply keep their children at home.

Course the children missed all last year, due to Covid and now they attend school when it’s convenient for mom. Ugh just ugh.

How quickly can they get the results? Truthfully I like my granddaughter home during these dangerous times.
The rapid Covid nose swap test here takes a half an hour. It is done through the health department and is free although your insurance will be billed. The salvia test takes up to 3 days for the results due to it being a more popular test. I got my results in less that 8 hours though.
