Ina was an important part of this forum for over three years, and when she died last winter, I think that it was a blow to many of us who had been good online friends with her on this forum, as well as on a smaller forum that we both had also been on for several years.
People are more like family on a smaller forum, and Ina really needed her online family to help combat the grief of losing her son and then her husband.
I really believe that we can have just as good of a friendship with people that we only know from online as people that we just meet in “real life”. It is all a matter of finding people that we can trust and relate to, and then a friendship can develop.
