Every cloud has a silver lining

It's been a while since I visited here but, you know that old saying that life is what happens whilst you are busy making other plans? Well, it's true. There we were, down on the coast enjoying the summer and then I had a serious health issue to deal with (almost dealt with it now) and, got to thinking and, yep, did what I always said I wouldn't and now it's official with me and my chap (we first met 40 years ago!) - I'm a Mrs!!! Feels weird even typing that! Anyway, just popped in to say hello.

Anyone else ever had difficult news which ended up changing the course of their lives ... for the better?
