I have been paying for my own horses for 65+ years - I could blow this thread up, lollol

My precious Arab when he was about 24. I laid him to rest when he was 29. The snow on him is real, the background is not.

My beloved Tennessee Walker who was with me 24 of his 27 years. Him and the Arab were best buds for almost 20 years. They are side-by-side in the Pet Sematary.

My current two and my last two. The horse that looks black is actually a seal bay who turns dark in the winter; he is a Dutch Warmblood about 28. The sorrel is my 30 year old Tennessee Walker who has been with me 28 years and is a retired trail horse.

My horses & dogs see a chiropractor every five weeks.

They have to see a dentist, too. Annually is generally sufficent but my fellas are now considered geriatric so twice a year. They get mildly sedated for this. The vet has to have strong arms and so does her tech. That’s about as much fun as it looks💩💩
