I live not far from "horse country". There are gently rolling hills, live oaks, spanish moss and farms.

Speaking of palm trees have not seen a knight anole in 2 years which find unusual .Palm trees, beaches and endless summers come to mind when many people think of Florida. But there is so much more!

As you know there is flight from Miami and now Broward going further north in the state but not like your area will become Miami in your life time but people are going further North .
Edit : as a general rule Miami not the friendliest bunch going .

Video doesn’t show but thanks for showing us your photos. They really are lovely. I liked the photo of the horse farms in the fog. It reminded me of a picture I painted years ago.

I think they get to bit over a foot and I used to see them all the time but not anymore which is strange .

Have you ever seen the super green Jamaican anoles ?Cuban lizard-like thing.
They are stunning but super rare .
Same size as the Cuban knights but only found in green foliage areas and cold spells take tolls on them .
