Extend Canine Lifespan.

Medical Research is working diligently to find a cure for Cancer.

It would be nice if they could also find a way to quadruple the average dog's lifespan from 14 to 56 years.

Remember...one year of a Dog's life is not equivalent to 7 human years...it's still just one year of precious life!

We thought about that before we adopted our new dog. Figuring we'll have him for 12 years give or take , we'll be in out late 70's when we lose him. I wouldn't want a dog to outlive me !

Heyyy Barbie...you beautiful girl... howyadoin' ?.:D.. I agree Hal... I would love it if dogs could live for an average of 50 years... to lose them on an average of 12 years is heartbreaking... and watching 2 of ours suffer from quite severe arthritis ( and strokes)..and only 10 and 12 years old, when it seems it was only yesterday they were puppies just doesn't seem fair..(although they are not in pain due to their meds, they still don't have the best quality of life that a dog should have after giving us the best years of their little lives)..
