Eye went bad over night.

Your blood pressure sounds awfully high. Do you take medication to lower it? What does it normally run?

High blood pressure can damage the vessels supplying blood to your retina, causing retinopathy. This condition can lead to bleeding in the eye, blurred vision and complete loss of vision. If you also have both diabetes and high blood pressure, you're at an even greater risk.

I had a mid night stroke (it woke me up) and in the morning I was 90% blind in my left eye. This occurred three weeks ago and it is still the same. I told my Cardiologist
about and he says it will most likely stay as it is now. Really messes up your vision.

Do you still drive with one eye? I have a friend that had a stroke and lost one eye also.

It's weird my blood pressure is always good till now without taking medicine.

My sister has a history of TIA's and her pcp is getting her an appt with a neuro asap since I have a history of brain aneurysms that rupture. Our dad died of a brain aneurysm that ruptured. At that time he did not know he had one either.
