Next morning found out my good eye was in real bad shape, Couldn't see out of it and my blood pressure was 234 over 100 the ER said. Now my eye sight is come back to near normal but still blurry.
All tests came back normal hospital said. MRI brain test and veins in neck clean.Maybe glasses or new glasses will help. What did your medical people say?
I had a mid night stroke (it woke me up) and in the morning I was 90% blind in my left eye. This occurred three weeks ago and it is still the same. I told my Cardiologist
about and he says it will most likely stay as it is now. Really messes up your vision.
Your blood pressure sounds awfully high. Do you take medication to lower it? What does it normally run?
High blood pressure can damage the vessels supplying blood to your retina, causing retinopathy. This condition can lead to bleeding in the eye, blurred vision and complete loss of vision. If you also have both diabetes and high blood pressure, you're at an even greater risk.
Myself I have no history of strokes but my mother and her father and sister had bad strokes. Please see a neurologist especially if you have a history of TIA's.
