Facebook friend said birthday card was a dupe

I posted a birthday greeting with graphic on a Facebook friend's timeline, then got a message from her that it was the same one I sent her last year. How can people remember these things for that long? Why even mention it?

Sometimes People amaze me. Instead of being pleased that you took the time so say Happy Birthday they pick on you. The world is crazy.

She was rude to you. She should appreciate that you thought of her and as others have said, that you took the time to post her a birthday message.

Well, I figure everyone has some quirks. I assume I do things that annoy people, too. To me it's just remarkable that she would remember from last year, especially if she received many greetings on her timeline. If she is keepig track of things like that, it seems obsessive to me.

If a "friend" told me my card, for whatever reason, wasn't good enough … it would be the last card or recognition of a birthday from me.

I'm sorry she responded to your gift of time and effort in such a disrespectful way. It had to hurt you a lot.

Some friends come with expectations.
I ‘had’ a friend who actually got upset at the gift I got her and asked if I had regifted her or purchased it at the dollar store. It was the last gift I ever bought her.
