false charge grizzly bear in yellowstone

the bear in the video I posted is tagged, grizzly 815 "obsidion sow" and sometimes they will bluff charge and sometimes they will keep on attackingt and kill the offender, human or otherwise. your choice I guess! but The view from inside the bear is not as good as from outside!!!!!

Nope. That’s definitely a grizzly. It’s got the prominent hump at the shoulder blades which black bears don’t have. Black bears are larger at the backend than grizzlies. I’ve gotten close to many black bears before. Yes grizzlies are vicious and if she actually thought her babies were in immediate danger she would have charged but they weren’t. Her main objective is to care for her babies not needlessly expend energy fighting humans.

My brother and I were camping up in the hills and one evening a black cub walked through. I was 15, he was 17. It was a visitor's campsite and it was pretty full. Everyone froze when the cub wandered in, but Grant got all excited and ran over to it. It turned to run away and Grant grabbed it by its tail and trotted behind it, grinning like an idiot. Everyone in the camp started yelling at him, "Idiot!! Let that thing go!"

Lucky as hell the mother bear didn't show up, but we were expelled from the campsite. Obviously.
