Jerry Lewis has been named already, Tiny. There is no such (famous) person as Gerry Lewis.

So let's go back to Lewis Black.

Jerry Lewis was named yesterday, just three answers before you said Gerry Lewis.

To answer your question, not every page, of course. But I always look back at the most recent answers, usually taking a quick look at the last few answers for the name we are on at the time. It takes about half a second. It beats posting a bunch of repeat answers, which can destroy a game.
 
Thanks, Holly. Those Irish and Welsh names get me stumped every time. And why are we still spelling words with ough? (I saw the name Scarborough this morning, and it made me start thinking about how crazy English is.)

yes and the difference in the pronunciation between the UK and the US...Scarborough here is pronounced.. Scar-bur-uh... and I'm sure you know perfectly wrll how differently it's pronounced in the US
