What are your favorite older / classic cars ?

I'd darn near give up both my eye teeth to own a 1962 Lincoln with suicide doors and a 1959 Cadillac.

My favorite has always been the Duesenberg model SJ (supercharged), vintage 1931 to 1935.

The Company, founded by brothers Fred and August Duesenberg, guaranteed the 3-speed SJ "Duesey" to go 101 MPH in second gear and 130 MPH in top.

The Straight-Eight DOHC 420 cu.in. Lycoming engine produced 320 HP, which had not been topped for over 20 years.

You should go to the {ACD} Auburn/Cord/Dusenberg...museum in Auburn , Ind. It is in the original [Auburn/Cord] factory and just full of those beauties !

A festive [although very crowded] weekend is the ACD weekend held each year over Labor day weekend. Not only the Museum open at reduced prices, but private owners from all over the world bring in their cars for a place in the very prestigious parade. And during it all there is an auction, as well as a street fair featuring all sorts of things , auto related & otherwise.

I met a man there once [some sort of Hollywood mogul] he brought {sent} two cars . The transporter alone was fancier than my house...But rich as he was & I not, he & his wife were very pleasant to talk with.
