Favorite short movie scenes...


If you are not familiar with Jane Austen’s work, “Persuasion,” this may seem pretty ho-hum. But even if you don’t know what all these two protagonists have gone through, I assert this is one of *the best* declarations of love and such a satisfying reunion.

I remember going to the re-release of Gone with the Wind in the theaters in like my senior year of high school with a couple girl friends…. The scene where they focus in on Rhett Butler looking up the stairs at Scarlett, we all just swooned. Dang, Clark Gable was a HUNK

This scene, No Stranger to Pain, is from Hot Shots, Part Deux. It spoofs movies such as Rambo with the electrical torture scene. We learn why the protagonist is no stranger to pain… 😸
