Fed up? Feel free to vent here, and get it off your chest!

People that are too lazy to bring their shopping carts back into the grocery store, or at least to one of the cart corrals, but instead leave them right in the middle of a parking space. That happened to me the other day.
That is one of my biggest pet peeves; my blood pressure never fails to spike when I see a cart in the middle of a parking spot.

Huh! I just walked my dog, and I came across three shopping carts just sitting at the end of my street. There's not a large grocery store within 1.5 miles. Some people are just ignorant, aren't they!

I think the number one thing that is getting my goat lately are those who spout theories taken from inflammatory political propaganda without doing in depth fact checking. My tongue is getting sore from biting it.
Doing an in-depth fact-checking might cause a cerebral synaptic overload!

What really bugs me are cars that are at the crosswalk waiting for me to cross, but I haven't even reached the crosswalk yet, like just go for heaven's sake!
Same here. Some might think that they are honoring us by that respectful gesture. Instead it is annoying.

Another pet peeve is having old timers who look my age or far older calling me pops, or young man.

In Honolulu the bus drivers are taught that if there is ANY sign that a pedestrian is near to crossing the street, they had BETTER stop if they know what's good for them. And they do know and they do stop.
I have tried to wave them on, but they will not move. And this is annoying to them because they are on a tight time schedule.

Well, that is perfectly understandable and acceptable since they have no choice. . However, stopping in the middle of the street so a senior citizen can cross instead of continuing on, or else waiting a long while at an intersection until the senior citizen finally gets there and crosses is unnecessary and humiliating. It constitutes a reminder of old age and we don't need that since we are reminded when we look in the mirror. Please just treat us as you treat everyone else under those circumstances.

But they cannot in good conscience do that, Radrook. Every decent person feels compassion for the aged and infirm, and feels the need to help if they can.
We shouldn't feel resentment for what can't be helped.
Better old and insulted than roadkill.

They do it to make themselves feel good about themselves.

Personally, when somebody goes out of their way to let me cross the street, I feel the need to walk fast so I don't hold them up, whereas if they would have just gone, I could have crossed the street at a leisurely rate. So letting me cross negatively affected my day, just so the driver could feel good about himself.

The local news seriously just had 7 minutes on a discussion of how people pronounced Grocery ........
if they have nothing else to talk about weather or traffic AGAIN but two people who pronounce a word differently.... and they wonder why they do not have people tuning in ......
sports guy wearing a jacket too small with his button closed looked like he was Dolly Parton .... when we tune in as comedy instead of info it is a very sad.

Not something that is much important. We have neighbors, who play every day a new episode of "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Who's_Afraid_of_Virginia_Woolf%3F

He is an American veteran of the Gulf war, she is German. He speaks German very well, in my opinion better than I can speak English. They had three dogs, meanwhile two, since the oldest one died, but they don't treat them with respect. All dogs came and come every day to our fence to get fondlings by my wife and me. And of course we are glad to give them some love.

Some years ago on a hot summer evening they were quarreling such fierce, that one of the neighbors cried "Be silent now!". It worked.
