Fill in the Blank in the Previous Sentence

Fill in the blank.
@Bella started a thread, July of last year, in the General Discussions thread to fill in the blank to one sentence. (I never saw it to participate in that one. I found it when I searched to see if it had been done. Thanks Bella.). I thought it might work for a continuing game here in the Games Forum.

• Starts with a sentence with one word left out and insert "the word blank" or "________ (Underscore)".
• The next person will fill in the blank with their own chosen word. Either by posting just the word or coping the whole sentence and inserting the word. Can "Bold" it.
• Then leave another sentence with a blank for the next person. Or, if you would like to see more answers to that sentence, then repeat that sentence.

Example:

I needed to get a _____ to put in the toaster. (or) I needed to get a blank to put in the toaster.
