Fill in the Blank - 'The Greatest Danger to Our Future' ... is???

The greatest danger to our future is thinking that God is NOT in CHARGE.
Amen

Thanks rbtvgo. You are correct. Yet ultimately there is no "danger" to the future of this world and it's people. The end of that story was written before time and it's a certainty. The danger is to the individual who has the ability to choose between arrogance and submission to God. Therein lies the true danger.
and Amen

Fill in the Blank - 'The Greatest Danger to Our Future' ... is???
Thought about this one for a while. Most folks have given relatively short term answers, some good ones.

However I don't have a lot of fear of the future. Short term I trust our younger folks to figure things out, probably better than we have. Long term we are of course doomed, no more chance that the human race will last forever than that we, as individuals, will live forever.

I do have some fear for the future generations who will have to experience the decline, just hope its no time soon.

Our near-term future is very dark. Our long-term and distant future is terminal. In between those two extremes are mysteries. And it all depends on us, together. Will humanity meet the challenges or will we sit back and wait for someone else with charisma to ride in on a white horse?

Could be A-I. If they become "smart" enough, they could use their instant communication with each other to figure out a way to wipe out the human species.
I doubt that AI would "wipe out" humanity, but in coming years AI and robotics WILL take over the jobs that now support a major share of our populations....office workers, manufacturing, etc. Couple that with an ever increasing population, and I can see the day when half our people are being supported by the half who still have jobs. That is when "All Hell" is going to occur.

A few years ago, a UN study put the maximum "sustainable" population at about 6 billion. We are already over 7.8 billion, with 9 billion expected by 2050, and 12 billion by 2100, Sometime in the latter half of this century there is going to be a conflict unlike anything in the past. It will Not be nation vs. nation, but rather the "Haves" vs. the "Have Nots".

If the "Haves" win, humanity will unite under a common language and government, and we will begin a major "reach for the stars". If the "Have Nots" prevail, humanity will revert back to the Dark Ages.

arrogance will be taken care of, (the wisdom of the wise..............).
There is no danger for those who believe and trust. Pain, maybe, but so is a root canal.
There are no other solutions.
Don't believe, fine, stock up on survival food. Keep listening to those who feed you the dire warnings. Any day now!

You either believe that some one else is in charge or you do not! Where do you sit?

I'm not talking easy, I'm talking about deciding, for yourself, and then making a choice.
God's in charge. Believe, don't believe, fine.

Rest in him, or find your own way, I don't care.
My path is decided and I sleep all night.

From what I hear it's that the "Mc-Rib" is not coming back.
Yeah but the sausage, egg and cheese is to die for!

On an other note stop worrying about all the bad news predicating what is going to happen tomorrow. Notice, I didn't say bad news today. That's a different matter. It's here, deal with it!
The prophets and experts in their field who make a living telling you what is going to happen tomorrow. Great credentials and wonderful careers and then they think that they have it all figured out and they let you know.
Firmly convinced in their own minds, after years of dedication that God has rewarded them with the answers they have searched for all their lives. Nope! sorry.
History is full of these stories.

Stop with the worry. Do what's right. Protect your family. Love them and trust that God is in charge.
