There are so many unvaccinated players in the Premier Football
League, here in the UK, that nearly all games were postponed
yesterday.
The number vaccinated is reported to be around 60%, one team
only, Leeds United, has, or had during the week 95% vaccinated,
most of the others including the lower leagues are in a mess as,
on average only 40 - 50% have taken it.
There are many discussions about how to get them vaccinated,
"no vaccine, no game", another, no pay, but the contracts are all
causing problems, so the dilemma continues.
I think that the only way might be "no game", they will still get
paid their basic wage, but no game bonus, but I know nothing
about the structures in teams and I am only guessing.
