I have a couple of cat questions. None of my cats ever seemed to watch TV. It was just a piece of furniture. Other cats seem to enjoy it, especially children's shows. Any ideas why?

Do your cats like music? I played some youtube music for the porch kitties today. They seemed to like it.

I don't know the answer, but when we adopted Andy as a young cat his foster told us he was "TV cat". We had no idea what she was talking about until we got him home and sat down to watch TV. He lays on a blanket in hubby's lap and is totally out of it. The sound of the TV seems to soothe him, even the loud scenes, because he's not nearly as chill in any other place in the house.

I got a Maine Coon Cat as a baby many yars ago. He was just wonderful. One day I was playing music and had one Robert Plant....Gizmo laid down in front of the music and rolled around purring and then stretched out on his back and zoned.
