I hung balloons across the ceiling and he would jump up
and hit them with his nose delighting the kids. He loved
being my assistant. Nap buddy for the ones being restless, he did this on his own.
I know some people scoff when pet owners say losing a pet is like losing a family member. When I had to have my 17 1/2 yr old lab/shepherd mix put down, it was like losing a family member to me. I had her cremated and her cremains sits in my foyer. I already have my funeral arrangements made out with a mortuary, and they know that when I die, her cremains are to be buried with me.
