Hey folks... beware of milk bone biscuts these days. Apparently, they've changed something in the make up and my dogs were wretching up yellow crap after eating a couple. (this is new).
Then I noticed the red ones are now dull pinkish and they've added some yellow ones to the mix.![]()
When you see the daily recalls on food products for humans, it makes you wonder what they'd do to animal food. (profit over health is what drive's them). Thanks for the heads up. I buy the Milk Bone “Maro Snacks”. So far they seem ok, but whose to say
Don‘t buy the vet recommended “Greenies”. Both my dogs had terrible gas on those dental chews.
The five star dental chews for my dogs were “Blue Buffalo All Life Stages Dental Chews”.
They are REALLY expensive. When husband could no longer work, I stopped buying them, but they are the best.
I guess this means putting my research hat back on to see what else is out there in terms of dental chews. I do a lot of shopping at tractor supply and they have a good arsenal of dog treats. The one they don’t have is blue buffalo; I have asked a time and time again if they would get that in, but to no avail.

There's no way anymore to trust what poop heads are putting in dog's food or treats. From now on, I will make my own with known... (to me) ingredients.
