Just Google: online meds without a prescription. There are a lot of resources and you finally have to go with the one that seems "honest" to you. Also, they can be somewhat more expensive but you save on a doctor's visit to get a prescription. I am evaluating my online meds with my local meds for HP by checking one against the other over a period of time with my HP cuff. Good luck!

Be careful; some of these are fake medicines....I have seen them made with brick dust, and other, not necessarily medicinal, ingredients.
packaging is also fake; but very difficult to tell..

Holly dolly; I think the laws are different here; medicines over the Internet with a prescription are fine; as they come from regulated UK sites; under the supervision of a pharmacist.

I personally; would never get a prescription only medicine over the Internet without a prescription.....I have seen some..

Yes, extreme caution is advised. I am studying my source very carefully as to their efficacy and they seem OK so far...

It's not an issue for me.

Visits to my GP are free under Medicare and pharmaceuticals are heavily subsidised with a monetary cap that means that people who require a lot of medicines are not charged at all once the cap is reached in any one year.

Even of I did have to pay more, my doctor does routine blood tests every six months to check my liver function etc etc to monitor whether any of my meds are having serious side effects.

I'd be crazy to trust my health to the internet.

Hmm, do you have a spare room? And how long would it take to get coverage?

If we buy prescription only meds over the Internet without a prescription; it is technically illegal; that is why fake meds became so popular, especially ******.
PGDs were introduced, so that some POMs are available without a script for specified conditions; through a specifically qualified pharmacist.
we used to do male pattern baldness, weight loss, travel medicines, and ****** is now on that list I believe (quite glad I wasn't trained for that!)

As all people over 60 get their medication free under NHS, there is no real point for us to do this...

My neighbor told me that he had bought some blood clotting medicine on-line because his insurance didn't pay for it and it was very expensive. He said after he took it he became very dizzy and his mouth was like cotton. Next, his heart began to pound and that is when his wife called the ambulance. When he got to the hospital he told them what he took and his wife had the pills with her.

The doctors didn't have time to do an analysis on them. They just wanted to get him stabilized. After all was said and done, the doctors told him to throw the pills away and never buy pills from on-line again. The doctor wasn't sure what was in it, but he told my neighbor that his heart rate was over 150 and had he sustained that, he probably would have gone into cardiac arrest.

Ready to join the caravan to Australia or UK. I am in The so called US Medicare "Donut hole", & just paid $189 for a six week supply of insulin. I won't do mail order for any Rx, regardless of source. They get exposed to extremes of heat, cold, toxins, & possible tampering & have heard from folks who do it that if the supplier makes an error, have to move heaven & earth to get it corrected, & meanwhile they don't have their stuff.

Sadly or Gladly...whatever way you look at it I am not over 60...:D

You wouldn't have to pay for insulin here Geezerette; replacement meds like insulin and thyroxine are free anyway; together with associated things like testing strips...

I am a pharmacist by profession; although retired now...hence my interference.
my knowledge of US drugs laws are not too hot though.....better at NZs.
US healthcare tends to be a complete maze as far as we are concerned...

I wouldn't. Who knows what ingredients are really in it.

I did buy a prescription pair of glasses recently online. Got a friend who did and he was pleased, so I gave it a shot. First I bought a pair of sunglasses and my vision is just as good as with my store bought glasses. Just got a pair with progressive lens and pleased with them too. Only about 1/4 the cost of store bought glasses.
