For Those Infected Are They Healthy Going In?

As I just saw another person released for a hospital and again I noticed she was overweight/obese as were others I have seen. We are not getting any information on those infected as to their general health numbers. Perhaps it would ease some anxieties if we knew how many were not healthy to start with. Just a thought.

My understanding is that a broad spectrum of people are being sickened without regard to their physical condition, but older people and those with underlying health issues are most likely to become very seriously ill or die.

That said, there are plenty of people who are young and/or generally healthy who've succumbed to this virus.

I don't know if epidemiologists have teased out the various groups according to pre-existing conditions, but given that virtually everyone on SF has one (over 60), those stats would offer cold comfort.
