Foundation makeup to conceal age spots

I’ve never worn foundation and in fact, rarely use any makeup other than lipstick. In recent photos I‘m not really liking how much the age spots stand out. Does anyone have a recommendation for a light liquid concealer that might work, one that doesn’t break the bank? Also, what about a lipstick that stains your lips without having that goopy glossy look that some have? My lipstick wears off almost immediately, but I feel much better when wearing one. I look like death itself without. Thanks!

It was in my 60s sometime when I looked at my forearm. It was like I had never seen it I was so surprised at the age spots. It freaked me out. Oh well, I hope you find what looks and feels good for you.

Once wrinkles started appearing, I discovered that liquid or pancake foundation would gather in the creases; it was awful. I switched to a powder foundation, Merle Norman. It's light, very discreet, but does the job of just evening out skin tones, etc. You can go in and they will test their products on you so you know what you are getting.

I fell for the marketing and tried Perbelle CC cream and actually like it. I ordered online.

It is a little expensive but last a long time. My last tube lasted a year but then I don’t wear it daily. I find it works best to apply sparingly.

There is no need to choose a shade of foundation as it self adjusts to your skin color. This works for me as I’ve never been able to choose the right shade in foundation.

If you’re willing to sign up for their emails you can get a discount. And watch for good sales they have occasionally.

I’ve not found a good lipstick for aging issues. Like you, I really need to wear lipstick when going out.

Thank you for the tip.

Thank you. I don’t buy anything online (it’s my own personal social stand) so I won’t be able to try the one you use, but appreciate your tip.

I had a dark spot on my cheek under my eye for years. Somebody was always pointing out that my mascara was smeared.
I dont even wear mascara anymore. Last year since everything has finally settled down I decided to do something about it .
I went to the dermatologist for a consult. I was prepared for it to cost me an arm and a leg. But I figured YOLO. And Im worth it.
It cost me $700 and she found a bunch more and zapped them too. If you can afford it I highly recommend it.
Im not into concealer and highlighter and all that stuff so I just lived with it.

My daily paint and body work now involves eyeliner and lipstick. If Im going out and about I will add eye shadow and blush.
Sometimes I do a swipe of powder over my blush. I will wear foundation on occasion but I like light coverage so I thin it with moisturizer.
