This story is not only appalling in the extreme, it's bizarre. The scheme to run a distribution business for a very high-risk drug combined with a daycare?😧🥴🥴 For sure, not the least regard for human life.

I know this case is fact. But from where I sit, it comes across like some absurd conspiracy story of recent years, such as management meetings at a pizza parlor for running a child kidnapping ring.

You know everybody says we can't turn back the clock, times have changed, but we could at least try to give our kids a world with two parents in the home. That immediately ups their chances to live without poverty and stay out of prison. If one parent can stay home with the kids until first grade they have a much better chance at life.

The picture of that little boy made me sad just to think of how he must have felt being dropped off at that house every morning -- even before his tragic death.

45 years in prison for the owner after being found guilty on federal drug charges. Can get out in 20 at the earliest

It was brought up that the offender tried to destroy evidence and failed to get immediate help for the children after the signs something was wrong/they ingested the drug.

The husband got a similar sentence

There shouldn’t have been any chance at parole. They took a life, which is the most precious gift that we receive.

Thank you for the update. I hope they do the full 45 and get. a taste of prison justice the entire time they are there.
