I want to be all “Ha!! You got yours!” But I just can’t. When the only way you can learn your lesson is by dying from it? That is just too harsh..and very very sad.

The obituary says he was involved with "paranormal" groups. Does that tell us something?

they do not seem to care. i went into a local shop yesterday evening and the clerk was not masked up. even though it has been mandated in all public settings. she had no plexiglass at the cash register or anything. i mentioned to her that i was surprised they were not making her mask.

she simply shrugged and stated "wear them, don't wear them, whatever." how very lackadaisical. the majority of our community is running around unmasked despite the mandate. it is sad that they do not care enough to help protect themselves as well as the others around them.

Yesterday I again noticed nobody on the bus had masks except the drivers.. and also noticed there was a small box of masks near the front of the bus for anyone who wanted one.
Creeping me out even further, a person leaned toward me a couple of inches from my face to ask about bus schedules.. and I'm really in panic-mode now...

Here a business can get a big fine or be closed down completely if it doesn't enforce mask wearing by its employees.

I think it is safe to say the concept of freedoms by some is killing us. We are still seeing very large group parties with no one wearing masks. Compare it to killing all passengers in a vehicle collision because they were not wearing seat belts because they were too restrictive.

It is now mandatory for bus passengers to wear a mask in Toronto. There are also masks at the front door. I wonder how this is working out, as there is access through rear doors as well.
