Fun songs lika "Shaddap You Face" by Joe Dolce

So simple these songs, yet somehow hit the spot when it comes to fun, (I particularly liked the Kookie one with Ed Byrne and Connie Stevens).

Here is a song we enjoyed very much as children called "Paddy Mcginty's goat", (we remember it sung by an Irish singer and entertainer who was very popular over here called Val Doonican, but this rendition is much earlier, and apparently performed by two Americans who were popular in Ireland back in the day):

“ Dustman” by Lonnie Donegan became the first UK record to go straight in at No 1 on the singles chart and was also the first comedy tune to top the chart. It also reached No 1 in Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

I've just found this address to a Christian organisation worthy of a place amongst the great fun songs above, (though not a song as you'll see, and I hope you'll excuse the slight diversion), as its both funny and poignant at the same time, so almost worth a place in the other thread I recently posted:

A performer who was quite popular here back in the day, who I suppose you'd call a concert hall star, who acted in a few films, and did stand up comedy as well, (not my favourite but talented nonetheless):

A classic fun song, sung by Terry Jones of the Monty Python team,........, (please be warned, if you're not familiar with their brand of humour you'll need to maybe listen to it all the way through a couple of times to get the way he's pulling the listeners leg, with a huge dollop of irony :) ):
